Hawaiian Kona Isle was established in 1989 when the group entertained at the Austin Aquafest International Night. They also entertained for the Brigadiers that year. Since then the group has entertained at local and statewide events, private parties, country clubs, and charitable events.

Our Polynesian dance show is an entertaining revue of the dances and music of the islands; including the graceful storytelling dances of Hawaii, the fast pulsating hip movements of Tahiti, and the fascinating Maori poi ball dances of New Zealand.

The revue will also feature beautiful authentic costuming (including colorful headdresses and other island attire), costume changes, and audience participation (including remarks about the guest of honor, if applicable, and lighthearted teaching of some Polynesian dances). Most shows include its own sound system and emceeing.
