Mariachi Real De Mexico was founded by trumpet player Ramon Ponce, Sr. in 1991, and is co-directed by him and his son, Ramon Jr. The group has played at countless celebrations and venues such as Madison Square Garden, Lincoln Center, Rockefeller Center and many more.

Mariachi Real De Mexico will provide the best live entertainment for any occasion. We are proud to share this beautiful music and tradition with all audiences.

In 2002, under the auspices of CTMD, the Ponces founded the Mariachi Academy of New York, the first mariachi youth education program of its kind on the east coast.
