Jazz Orquestra - Jazz Band Sacramento

I have been a professional musician for over 35 years having extensive experience in performance of all kinds and under all kinds of conditions. Several years of formal music training covering jazz and classical performance, advanced music theory, composition and arranging have shaped the musical challenges I pursued, instilling a professional attitude and an appreciation of the many different aspects of music life.

Below are some of the musical offerings I can bring to your venue or function:

Jazz OrQuestra - This quartet is my most ambitious jazz group. A flexible group of musicians who are well versed in jazz improvisation. We can sound cool, hot or avant-garde depending on who's listening and what's right for the occasion. Vivian Lee Trio, Quartet, Quintet - I love playing for Viv! This jazz vocalist has a unique style that is seductive; whether performing a hard swinging jazz standard, a bluesy romp or a tender ballad. She always has a great group for concerts, corporate events, dances and private functions. Solo Jazz Guitar - Jazz standards, modern jazz classics, Latin and blues form the basis of my solo performance. Great for private parties, corporate events, dinners, etc. Whether folks know it or not they've heard this music and really like the pleasant way jazz guitarists arrange the melody, chords and bass in a harmonious blend.

Jazz Guitar Duo/Trio - Similar in appeal, these groups expand on the solo guitar concept by adding interest and color for those who may want the music to be more central to the occasion. Jazz standards, modern jazz classics, Latin and blues forms the basis of these groups also. The duos can be guitar and upright bass or guitar and piano. The trios use guitar, bass and drums.
